If you do suffer ongoing pain after shingles then you may be interested in participating in the following study:
Patients who suffer Post Herpetic Neuralgia (that is those who experience chronic pain after having shingles) are needed for a clinical trial.
The trial aims to assess whether the study medication may give improved relief of your post herpetic neuralgia.
You may be eligible for this trial if you:
- Are over 18 years of age
- Have had persistent pain for 3 months after your shingles rash has healed

The trial is being conducted by medically qualified professionals, and has received ethics committee approval from the Bellberry Human Research Ethics Committee and the Hunter New England Human Research Ethics Committee.
