The
'Tip Jar'
To help promote herpes awareness
and Australian Herpes Support Groups in general,
a range of promotional materials has been developed
(see the Downloads page).
To help meet the expenses of professional printing,
promotion and advertising a virtual 'Tip Jar' has
been set up.
Support group members and others
may choose to 'donate' funds online to assist with
meeting these expenses. Payments can be made with
Paypal - a secure online payment service which allows
people to make payments to a person or group using
their registered email address.
To
make a donation, please click on the PayPal image
link on the right. This will take you to the Paypal
site. Payments can be made with a credit card, or,
if you have, or wish to set up a PayPal account
yourself, by direct debit from your saving account.
Credit card / account details are
not shared with the payee. Your private information
remains confidential between you and PayPal. See
the PayPal
Help pages for more info.
The email address to which payments
are to be made is hsv_help@yahoo.com.au (Please
copy and paste it to ensure there are no errors.)
If you DO NOT wish
to use PayPal but still wish to contribute, please
email hsv_help@yahoo.com.au for an alternative method.
Note: As this is not an official
non-profit / charitable group, you will not be able
to claim your donation as a tax deduction. Hopefully,
the satisfaction gained from helping others is more
than enough reward for your generosity.
We have a 'transparent' policy on
fund raising - this means that all financial information
will be made publically available. Below are the
details of donations and expenses to date.
Note: Donors may wish to remain
anonymous, use their Yahoo ID / MSN nickname, just
a first name or their company name. Please inform
us how you wish your donation to be recognised on
this site. |
